Abstract

The Legislative Committees of General Convention are made up of deputies bishops and exist only during the sessions of Convention. Individuals serving on the committees are appointed by the Presiding Bishop and President of the House of Deputies. They meet either independently or jointly in order to review resolutions, hold hearings, and recommend legislative actions to the House(s).
