Abstract

The first Registrar of General Convention, the Rev. John Henry Hobart, was appointed at the 1853 General Convention. The Registrar procures and maintains all Journals and other records of the General Convention, as well as the records of all ordinations and consecrations of bishops in The Episcopal Church. This includes sermons preached at General Convention and at the consecration of bishops.
